Hi, I’m Shelly.
I have spent my whole life in the antique trade. I helped out in my parents’ antique shop from the moment I could be trusted not to drop anything.
I have also spent a decade of my life in the upholstery trade and for the last 25 years I have run my own antiques business. Based 2 miles from the beautiful north Herefordshire village of Pembridge.
I’m often out and about on the road searching for lovely things to buy. I’m unbelievably fussy when it comes to furniture.
I paint lots of antique and vintage furniture but I am a strong believer that things can’t be made beautiful by paint alone. They have to be good quality and good looking to start with.
Everything that I buy gets looked over in our workshop first, then professionally restored if need be.
