Hi, I’m Shelly.
I have spent my whole life in the antique trade. I helped out in my parents’ antique shop from the moment I could be trusted not to drop anything.
I have also spent a decade of my life in the upholstery trade and for the last 25 years I have run my own antiques business. Based 2 miles from the beautiful black and white village of Pembridge , north Herefordshire.
I’m often out and about on the road searching for lovely things to buy. I’m unbelievably fussy when it comes to furniture.
I paint lots of antique and vintage furniture but I am a strong believer that things can’t be made beautiful by paint alone. They have to be good quality and good looking to start with.
Everything that I buy gets looked over in our workshop first, then professionally restored if need be.
